Terminology

It is important to agree on terminology while starting discussions on new concepts. Lithuanian equivalent for the term Cloud Computing has not been settled yet. The first bloggers who started writing about the new concept were suggesting the literal translation “computing in the clouds” or “computing in a sky”, whereas we suggest calling the services that are based on Cloud Computing - dynamic IT services. This term reflects the main features of the concept - flexibility in time, space, scope and costs.
